Meet Our Team

Keith Radke

Hi! My name is Keith and I'm married to Angie. I have been serving as a pastor in various ways since I was 18 years old, including worship, youth, college and teaching the Bible. With my wife and a team of people, we planted Calvary Chapel Elizabeth City, North Carolina in 2005, then moved to Utah to serve at Calvary Chapel Salt Lake in 2010. After helping plant Redemption Hill Church in Eagle Mountain, Utah, in early 2017, we put together a team to launch River Community Church on August 19, 2018, in West Jordan, Utah.

I enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, smoking meat, fly-fishing and reading books...I have lots of books. Together, Angie and I have 7 children and 3 grandchildren, and we enjoying spending time with our family and drinking coffee.

"It's always a good time for coffee." - Keith

Our Leadership Model

We are cultivating a pastor led, elder governed, team driven ministry model. As we grow into that model, our leadership philosophy will always reflect Jesus' statement in Matthew 20:28 and Mark 10:45, that Jesus came this world "not to be served, but to serve, and give His life." We seek men and women who desire to emulate the serving heart of Jesus as they lead in our local church

We are served by our pastor, Keith Radke, who provides leadership to the ministry, is our primary teacher and preacher, and seeks to equip people to lead well in their homes, communities and the church

We are served by elders who provide oversight for the direction, doctrine and discipline of the church. Currently, our elder team includes our pastor Keith Radke, pastor Steve Pierson (Redemption Hill Church, Utah), and pastor Robert Marshall (Streams in the Wasteland Ministries). As we grow, we desire to cultivate more elders from within our congregation.

We are served by ministry leaders at all levels, people who are called by God to utilize their unique gift to help encourage, equip and empower the people of River to thrive as followers of Jesus.

We are served by a board of directors who provide practical guidance and accountability for the business functions of the church.

We are always praying for leaders to step into their calling to serve God through the local church. If you are looking for a place to learn, grow and thrive as a leader, feel free to reach out to pastor Keith to discuss getting started at River Community Church.
