What can I expect?
How long is a Typical gathering?
A typical gathering at River is about 60 minutes in length. Gatherings begin with worship through music, with song lyrics projected so you can engage as you feel comfortable. After worship, our pastors will share a message about Jesus from God's Word, the Bible. Throughout the gathering, we incorporate communion, prayer and then close our meeting with a response of worship. Then we encourage people to stick around and meet someone new before going home.
We primarily use the English Standard Version of the Bible (ESV), but will utilize other versions when helpful for clarity and deeper understanding.
What's the culture like at River?
Sunday's at River are inviting, casual, and relaxed. We seek to be an engaging and loving community. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID19 concerns and the dynamics of our meeting space, we are not providing children's ministry at this time. We look forward to being able to serve families with a children's program that provides parents with discipleship resources and conversations. Until then, we are gathering family-style in our meetings.
